Placenta printing

Here are some lovely placenta prints that we did at the birth the other night.
I find them fascinating and very enjoyable to help with. I had a client some years ago who scanned the picture in and made the tree of life. Until then I wasn't really interested in prints. I often do it now with the children of the family. Although we do tend to get a better result as adults!!!

Rixa's blog The true face of birth has an interesting discussion on placenta printing. Her framed placenta picture is fantastic, it became a topic of discussion after being talked about nastily on another blog.
