I’ve had a long hard weekend. Before all the celebrations started I attended a birth.
She had a fantastic labour, and began pushing after about 6 hours Baby had lots of difficulty making it out. He weighed in at 11.5lb. He was a slow to breath so We had to resus him to help him get started. We called the ambulance as a precaution and they came quickly. All Was looking much better when they arrived and they stayed around for over an hour to ensure that the baby had totally recovered. He is a magnificent baby just like his mother is a magnificent woman.

Her other children were there and she had her partner and two birth helpers. Everyone immediately helped out when we needed it. I am proud of the family and the way they quickly rallied. This is one daughter who is not too sure about the placenta.
